Pulaski County child dies after shelf falls at daycare

PULASKI COUNTY, VA -

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a child at a Dublin daycare.

According to Sheriff Jim Davis, a shelf fell on the six-year-old boy around 8:00 a.m.

EMTs took the child to LewisGale Hospital at Pulaski, and the child died shortly after 9:00 a.m.

Sheriff Davis says the child was a student at Pulaski Elementary School, and went to the daycare before school started.

Sources tell WSLS that the child care center this happened at was Busy B's Daycare in Dublin.
