A technology company in Roanoke is seeing a boost of economic growth.
Interactive Achievement (IA) creates education software and is located in Downtown Roanoke.
The company recently received a $3.5 million investment and now they are putting the capital to use with an expansion.
Interactive Achievement is working with a local non-profit, Jefferson Center, to provide IA with more office space.
On Thursday, movers started bringing in furniture into the Jefferson Center.
About 12 employees will start working at the Jefferson Center starting Friday.
Tuesday is the first night for volunteers enrolled in this fall's Citizen's Academy. Some choose to continue that training through the Citizens on Patrol Academy.
