Fayetteville Police searching for missing 16-year-old

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Police in Fayetteville are asking for assistance locating a missing 16-year-old.

Reuben Veirs left his home in the Arran Lakes subdivision around 9:30 p.m. on May 6 and has not returned.

He was last seen wearing black shorts with red stripes on the side, a black sweatshirt and tan loafers. He is 16 years old, stands about 5 feet 9 inches and weighs 160 pounds.

Police say Veirs may be in need of prescription medication.

Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1856.
