Raleigh father charged with abusing 10-month-old child

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A Raleigh father is charged with abusing his 10-month-old child, causing serious bodily injury.

Brelynd McClain, 21, was charged with one count of intentional child abuse causing serious bodily injury.

He is being held at the Wake County Jail under a $100,000 bond.

A warrant for McClain's arrest indicates he caused head trauma on the child on April 28, resulting in retinal hemorrhage.
