A spokesperson for the leasing company at Towers Shopping Center, The Rappaport Companies, said they were not notified Growlers was closing.
The restaurant occupied 10,057 square feet at the mall, and served customers for the last time on Sunday. Growler's management told WSLS on Sunday, they would be closing due to financial struggles.
A Rappaport Companies spokesperson said Growler's lease was not up, and the leasing agent will have to go through negotiations before putting the space back on the market. When they do, the spokesperson tells WSLS they plan to recruit another restaurant.
