Roanoke Police arrest woman in deadly shooting

ROANOKE, VA -

Roanoke City Police say they're arrested one of two people sought in connection with a deadly double shooting from last week.

Officer tell us 19-year-old Anita Otey, of Roanoke, was caught in the city on Saturday, May 11th.  Police charged Otey with murder, in the shooting death of 30-year-old Wilson Abarca-Mejia.

Investigators say Abarca-Mejia and a second man were shot in the 1400 block of Abbott Street on May 7th.  Abarca-Mejia died, the second man survived.  Police have not released the second man's name.

Officers tell us they're still searching for a young man in connection with the double shooting.
