British Prime Minister David Cameron will visit the Boston Marathon bombing makeshift memorial this morning. He'll meet with first responders then head to New York where he will meet up with Prince Harry.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry will begin his day in New Jersey and visit areas hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. Once he joins Prime Minister Cameron, the pair will meet UK businessmen who have enjoyed commercial and creative success in the United States.

Minnesota will become the twelfth state to legalize gay marriage this afternoon when Governor Mark Dayton sign's the bill into law on the steps of the capitol. Weddings between same sex couples could begin August first.

Protestors plan to head to Martinsville City Council's first regular meeting tonight following the controversy over a quilt one council woman claimed was racist. Protestors tell WSLS 10 they'll take signatures for a recall petition to have Councilwoman Sharon Brooks Hodge removed. The meeting is tonight from 5:00-7:00 p.m..

The winner of the annual Don Holliday Memorial Scholarship will be announced this morning at 11 at the Roanoke Country Club. The 4-year $20,000 scholarship honors a high school senior from our area who has an interest in golf.

Two Blacksburg High School athletes will take part in a signing ceremony this afternoon at 2:45. Track and field athlete Alyn Carr will sign with High Point University while soccer player Laura Albert signs with Lynchburg College.

Men and women making up the branch group will practice a little tug of war this afternoon at 3:00 in preparation for CHIP of Roanoke Valley's Tug for Tots later this week.

    According to Roanoke City Police a shooting suspect is at large after one person was shot on the Roanoke River Greenway near the Ramada Inn on Franklin Road. Police say the victim has non-life threatening injuries. The call came in around 8:55.
