Towers leasing company finds damage inside Growlers

ROANOKE, VA -

The leasing company for Towers Shopping Center found damage when they entered Growlers American Grill and Venue Monday morning. That's according to a spokesperson for The Rappaport Companies.

The spokesperson said they are working on getting quotes on the damage before cleaning the space out. The Rappaport Companies said the owner still has a lease on the space, and is responsible for the condition of the space.

They would not comment on the status of the restaurant's lease.

Growlers served customers for the last time Sunday. Managers told WSLS that day the restaurant was struggling financially, prompting the decision to close. Meanwhile, WSLS learned Monday from the shopping center leasing company, The Rappaport Companies, that they did not know Growlers was closing.
