Blacksburg High Signs Three to College Ranks

      Blacksburg High School recognized two more athletes planning to further their sports careers in college. Alyn Carr is headed to High Point University for Track and field. She was the state champion and state meet record holder in the indoor 50 meter dash in 2011, and the runner up in the state outdoor championship in the 100-meter dash in both 2011 and 2012.  Laura Albert is headed to Lynchburg College to play soccer. As a starter her senior season she recorded 6 shutouts and has only allowed 8 goals in 13 games. She is a National Honor Society student.  She will be joined at Lynchburg College by fellow Bruin Samantha Ross. She will play Lacrosse.
