U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder will testify before the House Judiciary Committee this afternoon. The hearing will focus on several issues including the Boston Marathon Bombings, the targeting of conservative groups by the IRS and the Justice Department obtaining the telephone records of the Associated Press.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned U.S. Ambassador Michael McFaul to appear today in connection with the case of a U.S. Diplomat accused of trying to recruit a Russian agent. Russia claims U.S. Embassy Secretary Ryan Fogle is a CIA officer, and Russian officials have ordered Fogle to leave the country. Fogle's diplomatic immunity protects him from arrest.
Construction will begin today on the Brantley-Airside transmission distribution line rebuild and upgrade project in Danville today. It won't be complete until October and at times, vehicular and/or pedestrian traffic will be re-routed around the construction.
