Local store prepares for Powerball drawing

Posted: Updated:

Throughout the day people headed out in a mad dash to buy Powerball tickets.  With no winner last week, Wednesday's jackpot is up to $360-million.

James Bohnke works at Willis Village Mart, where a $2 million Powerball ticket was sold in August, 2012.  He says, "there is always a steady supply of people coming in and buying the lottery tickets."

Debora Keith was the one who sold that $2 million ticket.  It took nearly two weeks for the winner to come forward and claim his prize.

And that big win has other people in the community hoping for a similar fate. Which is no surprise, considering this is the third largest jackpot in powerball history.

Tonight's winning numbers are:      2, 11, 26, 34, 41

Powerball: 32
