PULASKI COUNTY, VA -

WSLS 10 has learned the educational travel agency hired by a group of Pulaski County high school parents and students to facilitate a trip to Europe has 39 consumer complaints in the commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The complaints, against an agency called "The European Institute," have been filed with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, according to a spokesperson.

A group of nearly 30 Pulaski County high school students, teachers, and parents expected to leave in July for a trip to London, Paris, and Rome.

Now that trip won't happen.

Some parents could be out between $10,000 to $15,000.

The Pulaski County school system is still checking to see what, if anything, it can do to help.

The trip was not a school system sanctioned event.
