"Certainly there's an interest in Virginia's Blue Ridge and people coming here to discover all we have to and people like what they see," The Roanoke Valley Convention and Visitor's Bureau Present, Landon Howard says.
This may mean good news for the 5-story Hampton Inn being built near Valley View Mall or the Hampton Inn set to be built on top of a parking garage on Church Street in Downtown Roanoke.
"With the Visitor's Bureau making us a travel destination, it makes it an easier place to sell," Roanoke Best Western Director of Sales, Timothy Dean says.
With more people visiting our area, this may generate more jobs, boosting our local economy.
