May is National Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention month.

Skin Cancer is the most common type of cancer in the United States and is also the most common type of cancer in people ages 25 to 29.

What is Melanoma?

Are you at Risk?

Melanoma kills an estimated 8,790 people in the U.S. annually.  If melanoma is recognized and treated early, it is almost always curable, but if it is not, the cancer can advance and spread to other parts of the body, and can eventually be fatal.
