Hokies and Hoos NCAA Regional Matchups Set

For the first time in school history Virginia Tech has been selected by the NCAA division 1 baseball committee to host a 2013 Regional.

Tech who finished the year 38-20 will be one of 16 schools to have a regional, UVA was also selected.

Each regional team will feature four teams and the games will be double elimination and the games will be played May 31st through June 3rd.

Tech will host Costal Carolina, Oklahoma and UConn to make up the field of four.

The first games will be Friday May 31st pitting Coastal against Oklahoma at 1pm and the Hokies take on UConn at 5:30pm.

Meanwhile in Charlottesville UVA will play Army in their regional at Davenport field at 1pm Friday and Elon will take on UNC Wilmington later that day at 6pm.
