Erin Brookshier

Posted: Updated:

In May, 2012 Erin Brookshier joined the WSLS 10 team as a news producer, but she is no stranger to the Roanoke and New River Valleys. Erin grew up in Salem, attending Glenvar High School. Following graduation in 2008, she headed to Blacksburg, where she continued to pursue her dream to work in television. Erin graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012 with a degree in Communication and minors in English and Political Science. Go Hokies!

During her time in college, Erin interned at several television stations including WCSC in Charleston, S.C. and right here at WSLS. Following a spring internship with WSLS in 2012, Erin began a full time position as a news producer, working on the weekend and 5 p.m. newscasts. One year later, she began working as a Digital Journalist for WSLS in June 2013.

Erin could not be more excited to be reporting in her hometown, close to the friends, family and community that she loves.
