Kroger hopes to help make a difference for America's servicemen and women overseas.
The grocery giant's Mid-Atlantic stores plan to donate more than $100,000 to the USO, as part of Kroger's Honoring our Heroes campaign. Overall, Kroger plans to give $2.3 million to the USO.
"We are delighted to join with the Kroger Family of Stores to honor our military and their families through the USO," said Kroger spokesperson Allison McGee.
Customers will also have a chance to donate. Spare change boxes will be set up at check-out in each Kroger store.
