President Barack Obama will make remarks in support of the Senate's immigration bill at the White House this morning. The Senate has scheduled two procedural votes to allow debate to move forward on their bill to overhaul the nation's immigration laws.

A pre-trial motions hearing is on tap for the suspected Fort Hood gunman today. U.S. Army psychiatrist Major Nidal Hasan is facing 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder for the 2009 shooting.

The Democratic Primary is today. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

The DiscoverLynchburg team will be make three major announcements about tourism and the City this afternoon at 2:00. The announcement will be made at the Craddock Terry Hotel & Event Center

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation will have a meeting tonight to address a water quality improvement plan being developed for Cripple Creek in Wythe County. The meeting is from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Speedwell Volunteer Fire Department.
