ROANOKE COUNTY, VA -

A local business will have its grand opening tonight and celebrate by making a donation to local charity.

Minuteman Press of Roanoke at Springwood Park has partnered with neighboring Salon Associates to make donations to both the American Cancer Society and the non-profit Locks of Love.

Locks of Love is not affiliated with the ACS but provides hair pieces to children suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. For every person who schedules a cut, Minuteman says it will make a $20 donation to the ACS. "We know the effects of cancer," said Minuteman Press owner, Bill Kyle. "Minuteman and this business gives me a venue of which to give back."

The grand opening is at 5:00 p.m.. Kyle stresses you don't have to have your hair cut tonight, you just need to schedule the appointment. Minuteman Press is located at 3214 Electric Road.
