This Kid Rocks: Kennedy Cousar, Ravenscroft School

RALEIGH, N.C. -

For years, homelessness has been a real problem across the country and right here in North Carolina.

There are numerous people and organizations that focus specifically on helping the homeless, but have you ever heard of a 9-year-old girl giving up birthday gifts to help the homeless?

If not, get ready to meet Kennedy Cousar. She's 9 years old and a student at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. She's also an inspiration.
