WSLS 10 has learned former Franklin County kindergarten teacher Angela Nolen will enter a plea Tuesday morning to her role in an alleged murder-for-hire plot involving her ex-husband.

The former Sontag elementary school teacher will enter the plea at 9:30 in Franklin County circuit court.

Nolen is charged with trying to hire a hitman to kill her ex-husband.

The "hitman" turned out to be an undercover Virginia state police investigator.

State police investigators have Nolen on video and audio tape arranging the "hit" with an undercover officer.

Investigators said in court records Nolen offered the undercover investigator $4,000 down to kill her ex-husband, and then $4,000 more after it was done.
