Two charged in Montgomery County meth lab bust

According to Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, 27 year-old Matthew Cook and 25 year-old Christina Clark, both of Christiansburg, have been charged for their involvement in meth labs.

Cook has been charged with both manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.

Clark charged with possession of methamphetamine.

This after Montgomery County Sheriff's Officer along with Montgomery County Social Services went to check on an elderly man in the Vicker Switch area.

Upon arrival, they discovered a meth lab.

The elderly man and the two deputies who entered the residence were treated for exposure to the meth lab.

Cook is being held without bond at the Montgomgery County Jail.

Clark is being held on a $2,500 bond.

Additional charges are pending.
