A House Oversight Committee will decide today if it should bring back suspended IRS official Lois Lerner to testify. The committee wants to learn more about the agency targeting of conservative groups. Lerner avoided appearing in front of the committee last month by using her fifth amendment rights.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Rally kicks off today in New York City. The rally comes days after the U.S.Supreme court struck down key provisions in the Defense of Marriage Act.

It's the final day to register a Roanoke Valley business as the Small Business of the Year. So far around 200 applications have been submitted. If you have a nomination contact the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The Virginia Museum of Transportation will announce the results of its feasibility study on the 611 this morning at 11. The study was set up to determine if the museum can get the Norfolk and Western Class J 611 steam locomotive running again.
