State Police issue missing teen alert

GREENSVILLE, VA -

UPDATE: State Police say the teen has been found and the alert has been canceled.

The Virginia State Police and Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an endangered missing child media alert on behalf of the Greenville Sheriff's Office.

They're looking for 15-year-old Jadell Hamilton, who was last seen in Emporia at 639 Caney Branch Road, according to the alert. He's believed to be in danger.

Hamilton is said to be 5'6, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with a red stripe across the front and blue jean shorts.
