Man sentenced to 10 years in jail for beating, robbery

A Radford man is sentenced to 10 years in jail for beating and robbing a 70-year-old woman.

Police say on June 15, 2012, 26-year-old Chase Patrick attacked the woman, then robbed her in her home on the 200 block of Ingles Street.

Patrick pleaded no contest to several charges including; aggravated malicious wounding, armed burglary, robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony.
