Lynchburg Police search for copper thief

LYNCHBURG, VA -

Lynchburg City Police are searching for whomever stole a heat pump system and copper pipe from a home in June.

Officers say the theft was reported on June 8th, at a home in the 1300 block of Tilden Avenue, and believe the theft took place in the two weeks leading up to June 8th.  Investigators tell us no one had been at the home.

The stolen items are valued at $1,800.
