Body in burned-out car died from accidental causes

A body found in a burned out car was an accidental death, according to authorities.

The car was found in the early hours of May 6th. It was parked on Allison Ave; after extinguishing the fire, a body was found in the driver's seat.

The body has been identified as Dwight Cecil, age 69. He owned the car and was a resident of the 400 block of Allison Ave.

Fire and police officials conducted a joint investigation of the case. The Fire Department ruled that the car fire was accidental. The Medical Examiner's Office says Cecil's death was caused by medical issues and was ruled accidental as well.
