47-year-old NC State student faces 6 peeping charges

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A Raleigh man who is a graduate student at N.C. State University has been charged with six counts of secret peeping, according to the Raleigh Police.

Samuel Lyn Boone of Lane Street was charged with six misdemeanor charges of secret peeping, Police said. Boone has also been charge with three counts of indecent liberties with a child.

Boone, 47, is said to have committed the offenses from June 16 to July 16. His court date is set for Aug. 28.

His bond was $20,000.

Police records list him as a student at N.C. State, and school records identify him as a graduate student.

Police spokesman Jim Sughrue said the charges related to multiple instances with the same victim, and did not occur on campus.
