    An Alabama man who went to the hospital for a routine circumcision says doctors mistakenly amputated his penis. Johnny Lee Banks Jr. of Birmingham and his wife, Zelda Banks, filed the lawsuit Tuesday.

The American Red Cross of Northeast Tennessee is surveying damage throughout Northeast Tennessee from Wednesday night storms. 

If anyone has damage to the living area of the home they are asked to call the Red Cross office at 423-378-8700. 

The shelter in Kingsport at 254 Walker Street in the Lynn View Community Center closed Thursday morning. All residents have been able to return home.
