A Pulaski County man is headed to prison for selling cocaine multiple times.

According to special prosecutor Chris Rehak, who is Radford's Commonwealth's Attorney, the Claytor Lake Regional Drug Task Force caught Elliot Thomas Webb Jr. selling cocaine to a police informant on October 25, 2010.  At the time, Rehak says Webb had two prior convictions for selling cocaine.

While out on bond and pending trial, investigators caught Webb selling cocaine again in Pulaski County in September of 2011.

Webb had a jury trial on Monday, July 22nd this week.  The jury found him guilty, and recommended a sentence of 30 years in prison, along with a $500,000 fine.

"Once again citizens were well-served by excellent police work," Rehak stated in a news release.  "This unusually large sentence reflects the community's attitude about repeat drug dealers and the inherent power behind our bifurcated trial system...  Criminals in the New River Valley should expect to be arrested, prosecuted and severely punished when appropriate."

Rehak added that Webb's criminal record stretches back to 1984, when he was convicted for robberies in Roanoke.
