Henry County deputies search for debit card theft suspects

HENRY COUNTY, VA -

Henry County Sheriff's Office news release

The Henry County Sheriff's Office is investigating a debit card fraud that occurred on July 12, 2013.

This debit card fraud occurred at the Martinsville Walmart.  The individuals shown in the surveillance picture, came into the Walmart and made two transactions:

  • One transaction was for the amount of $7.37
  • The second transaction was for $88.11

The three individuals shown in the photograph used a stolen debit card to make these two transactions.

The Henry County Sheriff's Office is requesting the assistance of the public to identify the suspects involved in this debit card fraud.

Anyone having information pertaining to this debit card fraud and the individuals pictured is asked to contact Inv. B. Lawson with the Henry County Sheriff's Office at (276) 656-4218 or Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (638-2-7463).

The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $1,000.00 for information related to crime.  The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
