Drivers on Jefferson Street may have noticed a group of spirited children with brightly colored-hand made signs.
They are part of the Community Youth Program and are raising money for a good cause.
Only adding another bit of charm to the fundraiser, they are doing it the old fashion way with a lemonade stand.
Leeann Reich, the Executive Director says the children are raising money for Children's Miracle Network
"We really try to work on helping the students to understand giving back to their community. And to help interact with others so they can really connect with kids," Reich said.
"Its just one of those charities that the kids can really connect with the most and its something that they always see themselves giving back to."
Wednesday is the last day to get your lemonade from the stand. The stand is open from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for the Blue Ridge Music Festival.
