RALEIGH, N.C. -

A newborn baby in Raleigh has a very special connection to Britain's new royal baby.  Not only does Jaxon Norris share the same birth date, he was born at almost exactly the same time.

Nicole Norris gave birth to baby Jaxon at about 11:25 a.m. on Monday at the Rex Women's Center in Raleigh, about a minute a part from when the Duchess of Cambridge delivered her baby.

A nurse served as a town crier, breaking the news to mom and dad.

Her newborn prince comes two years after the birth of Jaxon's older brother, whose name just happens to be William.

"We have our own Prince William, who's almost two, and now we have him, so we're pretty lucky," Norris said.

The name Jaxon was the only one Nicole and dad Blake could agree on.  They're holding out hope the Duke and Duchess will hear about his name and get some inspiration.

"If they want to name the royal baby after him, that's fine with me."

We'll keep you posted.
