ELIZABETHTON, TN (WJHL) -

A case solved in Carter County.  Investigators said it's all thanks to your tips received after one of our Monday's Most Wanted reports.

We first told about a pair of thieves breaking into several cars across Carter County last month, Now, the sheriff's department has made three arrests in connection with these crimes.

Investigators said they have linked two juveniles, with whom law enforcement is very familiar, and George Joshua Harrison, 18, from Elizabethton.

Police believe Harrison was the get-away driver, and would drop off the two juveniles while they broke into cars, and then would pick them back up.

The Carter County Sheriff's Office received more than 20 auto burglaries from April until June.  Investigators said the crimes were committed all over the county, including Biltmore to Bristol Highway.  The crimes did have several connections though.

Capt. Mike Little tells News Channel 11, "they were all related because of the hours they were occurring and the fact they were just hitting vehicles, and it looked like they were just doing very rapid hits."

So, during our Monday's Most Wanted we showed you a picture of two people breaking into a car, thanks to one of the victims.

"They were actually able to catch some pretty grainy images, but images none the less, of two guys breaking in, breaking into their car," said Little.

That's when investigators said they received several leads linking two juveniles and George Joshua Harrison, to the crimes.  Day's later deputies pulled over Harrison.  During the traffic stop one of the juveniles took off running, but deputies were able to make a big find.

"Inside the vehicle we recovered a tremendous amount of stolen property which we were conclusively able to link back to the auto burglaries," said Little.

The sheriff's office was able to connect 13 of the auto burglaries to the three.

"Anytime you can solve that amount crime, it's a good day for us, and I know it's a good day for the victim," said Little.

That includes Helen Taylor who was a victim, and had camping equipment stolen. "That's the greatest relief I ever felt. Yes, I am glad you caught them," said Taylor.

These arrests also help make headway in solving similar crimes for police in Washington County, Johnson City and Elizabethton.

All three suspects are facing multiple charges, including at least 13 counts of Auto Burglary and numerous counts of Theft Over $500.

Investigators also tell News Channel 11 they believe one of the juveniles could be moved into the adult system, because of the number of charges.

One other link officers made during their investigations, all the victims admitted to leaving their car doors unlocked, which made them very easy targets.
