God's Pit Crew building two new homes in Oklahoma

Posted: Updated:

God's Pit Crew continues to do tremendous work for those in need with the group's current focus on building two new homes in Moore, Oklahoma.

You may remember the non-profit responded in May after the tornado touched down leveling thousands of homes.

God's Pit Crew founder, Randy Johnson, says before his crew even left Moore on their first trip he knew they would be back.

Volunteers will turn two empty lots into brand new homes.

"This is something that will change somebody's life forever from now own and what was a terrible tragedy in these two family's lives now may become the best blessing that they've ever had," Johnson said.

Right now, two companies committed $100,000 to the project if God's Pit Crew can match it.

Johnson says they've got $80,000 to go, but the non-profit is so confident donations will come one family is already picked … a single mother of three.

If you would like to donate financially to the house builds log on to www.godspitcrew.org.

Johnson says they're also looking for skilled workers to help build the homes.
