Baby red panda at Mill Mountain Zoo is growing

ROANOKE -

Right now the zoo's new addition spends most of her time in her den.  The baby red panda is a little more than a month old.

Baby Shayla takes plenty of naps at Mill Mountain Zoo in Roanoke.

She was born on June 19th and weighed about 4.5 ounces.  She was so small she fit in the palm of your hand.
