Blue Ridge construction company helps Roanoke County storm victim

Posted: Updated:

The recent stormy weather has caused a lot of heartache for folks after their homes were damaged.

That includes Ginny Owen in Roanoke County who suffers from multiple sclerosis.

We introduced you to Ginny a couple weeks ago.

She's in between insurance policies, so when a tree fell on her house she didn't know where to turn.

Local construction company Building Integrity is donating about $70,000 worth of work to make a difference for Ginny.

"She needs help, so that's why we're here.  God runs our business, we just try not to mess it up, so when we feel he says to go help, we go help," explained Mike Patrouch, Building Integrity owner.

"They have a great name for their business, but it is also a verb, because they are building integrity and I love that, they're good people," Ginny said.

Building Integrity is looking for skilled volunteers to help with the work.
