Rain doesn't damper campers' spirits at Floydfest

Posted: Updated:

Floyd, VA - The third day of FloydFest kicked off today and the rain made it one to remember.

The walkways of the venue were covered in mud, but those that attended the festival didn't mind. Many even walked around barefoot, embracing the rain mother nature carried in.

Campers from all over the country said today's rain didn't impact their view of the festival.

Gambill Caldwell traveled all the way from California to attend Floydfest this weekend. Earlier today he twisted his ankle when he slipped at one of the muddy venues. He says he is still enjoying the rest of his weekend and he plans to return next year.

All of tomorrow's events are still scheduled to continue as normal.

Festival advisors are encouraging people to check Floydfest's facebook page in case anything changes.

That page can be accessed at https://www.facebook.com/FloydFestVA.
