ROANOKE, VA -

Virginia State Police are searching for a man caught on camera breaking into an SUV belonging to the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.

According to Sergeant Robert Carpentieri, of State Police's Salem division, the break-in took place around 10:39 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23rd, at the DEQ's Roanoke office on Peters Creek Road.

The surveillance video shows a man throw a cinderblock at the passenger's side window.  However, the window doesn't break, the cinderblock itself shatters.

The man is later seen doing something to the window, then crawls through into the cab of the SUV.
