Sullivan Prepares for PGA Challenge

   Golf's fourth and final major of the year is looming next week-The PGA Championship.  This year one of our own will stand among the best in the world, and trade shot for shot.  Hanging Rock PGA Pro Chip Sullivan finished tied for 4th at the PGA Professional National Championship at the end of June--out in Oregon.

    That finish punches his ticket to the PGA Championship--at Oak Hill in Rochester New York next weekend.  The former PGA Tour pro will be making his 6th PGA Championship appearance. He has finished as high as 33rd but the experience of playing in a major remains a thrill for the PGA veteran who explains he still get fired up to take on the youngsters out there.  He is now motivated by his family--with his children old enough to understand what Dad is accomplishing out there, among the likes of Tiger, Phil, Rory and the rest.
