Center in the Square supporters raise thousands for employee with cancer

Posted: Updated:

A WSLS Making a Difference update to Center in the Square's efforts to help a co-worker battle cancer.

Center in the Square held a rooftop fundraiser event for Sundy Warf this past Friday.

Less than a month ago the 34-year-old was diagnosed with stage four cancer, but doctors don't know where it began in her body.

Unable to work Center in the Square supporters helped raise $8,300.

Co-workers say that total is a testament to how much Sundy has touched others.

"People love Sunday. Sunday is one person that I have never heard say anything bad or negative or derogatory about anyone else or quite honestly anything. Sunday is a lovely lovely person who has a very kind heart," explained Jim Sears, President and General Manager of Center in the Square.

When you add the money raised on www.givefoward.com supporters have donated more than $15,000 towards a goal of $25,000.
