The city cemetery just received a grant to add more lights. People who live by it say it'll help prevent people from coming in and out of it at night.
Two lights will be added in the back of the cemetery by an alley. The Belmont neighborhood association applied for the grant last year in October. The group volunteers their time cleaning up the cemetery and hope these lights will stop trash being left there.
There are already two lights in the middle of the cemetery.
"This is where all our founding fathers are," says Amy Morgan, president of the Belmont Neighborhood Association. "All the big names are buried here and they need to be respected."
