Live United Campaign Kicks Off Tonight

Posted: Updated:

The annual United Way campaign "Live United" kicks off tonight at the Roanoke Special Events Center.

It is open to the public and will run from 5-7:30pm.

United Way helps thousands of people in the Roanoke Valley each year with the money raised from the campaign.

There are going to be games for adults and kids at the kickoff. A free meal is also being provided by Kroger.

President of United Way of Roanoke Valley Frank Rogan says, "We all come from different walks of the life here in the Roanoke Valley, but this is one of the ways we can all come together as a community."
