Roanoke City Police announces car theft arrests

ROANOKE -

The Roanoke City Police Department announces a pair of arrests in relation to a number of car thefts from the morning of Wednesday, August 21st.

Benjamin Memeti, age 18 of Roanoke has been charged with unlawfully entering a vehicle and petit larceny.  Ibrahim Kadrolli, age 18, also of Roanoke, is charged with unlawfully entering a vehicle.  

More charges are pending against both suspects, and evidence shows the suspects entered a number of vehicles on the streets listed below:

1700 block of Clay

1600 block of Clinton

1500 block of Gladstone

1300 block of Stewart

1300 block of Dale

1600 block of Tazewell

200 block of 17th

Police ask anyone who found anything in those areas missing from their vehicle, to call the Roanoke Police Department at 540-853-2400.
