Thousands pack the streets in Raleigh for Packapalooza

RALEIGH, N.C. -

It's Packapalooza time at N.C. State University! Thousands of people packed Hillsborough Street for one of State's biggest celebrations.

There was plenty of food and fun for the whole family.  Bouncy houses and bungee jumps filled the kid zone. Local restaurants and businesses had booths set up along the street.

It also gave students a chance to check out all the programs N.C. State has to offer. Athletes and coaches signed autographs and took pictures with fans.

Country music star and state student Scotty McCreery performed live with head football coach Dave Doeren and Chancellor Randy Woodson. There were two stages set up for live music.

The highlight of the even, in our opinion anyway, was our very own Pam Saulsby and The Reel Deep Band who added some funk to the party.
