Rebuilding Together Roanoke Fixes Up Donated Homes

It's still in the beginning stages but once the home on 10th street Northwest is completed, Rebuilding Together Roanoke says it's going to look different in the inside and outside.

Over the weekend, they cut down some of the trees around the home that was donated by Wells Fargo. It's through their real estate owned property division. The home was foreclosed on last February and is the second home that the company has donated to them.

The home will be sold to a family in need. Volunteers have been fixing it up and estimate that they'll put in about $30,000 of materials into it. A representative of the organization says this home will also help the community through its curb appeal.

"It's more than just providing a home for one family," says Rick Sheets, Rebuilding Together Roanoke. "It helps the entire neighborhood.
