The Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center (BRAAC) could soon be one step closer to adding a new facility.
A public hearing will be held at Tuesday's Roanoke County Board of Supervisors meeting to add a second location in the Hollins area on 8132 Olsen Road, which is currently a residential house.
According to a letter to the board of supervisors from BRAAC Executive Director Angie Leonard, the second location will allow students to learn living skills in a natural home environment.
The public hearing is Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Roanoke County Administration Building.
Bedford County Sheriffs Department had the SWAT unit out issuing search warrants today and will have more information tomorrow.
