Interacting with a pitcher will normally end with the benches cleared, and the next pitch you see could be coming at your head.
But the Colorado Rockies' Troy Tulowitzki couldn't help himself after Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez snared a quick line drive Sunday afternoon.
Tulo looked at Fernandez in disbelief and asked, "Did you catch that?"
Fernandez responded accordingly with a smile and a nod.
So all ended well -- no fastballs in the ear next time up.
