LYNCHBURG, VA -

Lynchburg Police have arrested Jeremiah Deshawn Scott for the August 17, 2013 shooting.

It happened at the intersection of 11th Street and Monroe Street.

When officers got to the scene, they found the victim, 48-year-old Raymond Anthony Braxton of Greensboro,  had been transported to the Lynchburg General Emergency Room.

Braxton wasn't seriously hurt.

Scott is charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He's being held in the Lynchburg Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bon.
