Berglund Automotive owner buys wheelchair for Wytheville teen

He owns one of the largest car dealerships in our area and a recent trip inspired the owner of Berglund Automotive, Bruce Farrell, to help make a difference in the community for those who can't easily move around.

At a classic car auction Farrell committed to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation to buy a wheelchair for a teenager in Wytheville.

Darrell Gwynn is a former drag racer who was paralyzed in an accident and now gives away wheelchairs to those in need.

The foundation presented Chelsea King with the wheelchair Farrell paid for at this past weekend's Bristol race.

"I just decided I would donate a wheelchair to his cause.  It might have been great salesman or it just hit my heart button or whatever the case may be," Farrell explained.

Next week, we're going to catch up with Chelsea and get a firsthand look at her new chair and how it's made a difference in her life.
